B20.cat documentation
B20.cat is a one-transaction coin launchpad on Base. You create a token, its entire supply goes straight into a Uniswap v4 pool, and the liquidity is locked forever. No bonding curve, no presale, no admin keys — trading is live the moment your launch confirms.
Overview
Every coin on B20.cat is a B20 token — Base's native token standard (Beryl upgrade), created through the canonical factory precompile at 0xB20f…0000. Because the token is created adminless with a fixed supply and its mint function permanently disabled, nobody — not even you, the creator — can ever mint more, freeze, pause, or change it after launch.
The whole point: a launch that's fair by construction. You pay nothing but gas. The full supply is in the pool, so there's no team allocation hiding in a wallet, and the LP is locked so it can never be pulled.
How a launch works
In a single transaction, the launchpad:
- Creates your B20 token through the factory precompile — adminless, fixed supply, cap locked to that supply, mint disabled forever.
- Opens a Uniswap v4 pool (your token paired against ETH) priced so the starting fully-diluted market cap matches the target you picked, using the live Chainlink ETH/USD feed.
- Deposits 100% of the supply as single-sided liquidity and mints the LP position straight into the locker contract, where it is locked permanently.
From that block on, anyone can buy and sell your coin on Uniswap. As people buy, the price moves up the curve — classic supply and demand, fully on-chain.
Supply & market cap
You choose one of two fixed supplies at launch:
Both are fixed forever — the supply can never change after launch.
Fees & rewards
Every swap on your coin's pool charges a 1% fee. That fee is split 60% to the creator and 40% to the platform. The creator's share accrues in the locked LP position and can be claimed any time from the coin page (“Creator rewards → Claim fees”).
The liquidity itself stays locked — only the earned fees are claimable, never the underlying liquidity.
Auto buyback & burn
Optionally toggle Auto buyback & burn at launch. When on, your 60% creator fee never reaches your wallet — instead every claim uses that share to market-buy your coin from the pool and send it to the dead address (0x…dEaD), permanently reducing circulating supply. It's a permanent, on-chain, visible deflation mechanic, marked with a 🔥 badge on the coin.
Trading
Each coin has a full exchange-style terminal: a live candlestick chart (with optional moving-average indicators), a real order book computed honestly from the pool's AMM depth (no fake orders), a live trade feed, and a buy/sell panel that swaps directly through Uniswap's Universal Router. You can also always trade on Uniswap directly via the “Alt route” link.
Why it's safe
- Adminless — no owner keys, nothing to change or rug at the token level.
- Fixed supply, mint disabled — the amount can never inflate.
- 100% liquidity locked forever — the LP position lives in the locker with no withdraw path.
- Full supply in the pool — no hidden team bag.
- Everything on-chain — verifiable on Basescan and Uniswap.
Note: markets are risky. “Safe by construction” means the launch mechanics are trustless — it doesn't mean any given coin will go up. Do your own research.
Stock pairs
We're adding the ability to pair your coin against tokenized stocks (Google, Tesla, Apple, Nvidia and more) instead of ETH — so your coin's price tracks against real equities on-chain. These appear as “coming soon” in the launch panel today and will go live once the tokenized-stock assets are whitelisted on-chain.
FAQ
How much does it cost to launch?
Only Base gas (a few cents). No listing fee, no presale.
Can I change my coin after launch?
No. Name, symbol, image, and supply are permanent — the token is adminless. Choose carefully.
Can the liquidity be pulled?
Never. The LP is locked in the locker contract with no withdraw path. Only swap fees are claimable.
Where do I claim my creator fees?
On your coin's page, under “Creator rewards → Claim fees”.
Is an image required?
Yes — every coin needs an image (PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP). It's pinned to IPFS and set as the on-chain contract URI.
